Dr Elizabeth Dalgarno is a lecturer and researcher in women and children’s health and justice at the University of Manchester, UK, and the founder and director of the global SHERA Research Group. This post discusses the numerous scholars and studies which have highlighted that the technology-facilitated abuse (tech-abuse) of victim-survivors, particularly those engaged in private family law proceedings, is a growing concern that must be addressed by professionals and those who support these families. I bring insights from philosophy, feminism, broader health and social sciences and beyond to urge professionals to enhance their expertise in this important area.
